Just use a small bit, too much and it will have the opposite effect as it will strengthen the ear muscles 😉

no help – but as part of my life learning experience can someone explain about the sea isles growth chart and the kaolin (which i use for dodgy tums ??? ). Thank you. 🙂

The kaolin weighs the ear tips down, as the standard calls for semi erect ears so, if the go fully erect they need to be weighted to help them go the right shape for showing 🙂

As for the ears ::) I have never weighted them so no help there, some of mine winged about a bit when they were teething but have never had to weight them, did know a breeder that used wine gums, they would have lasted at least two seconds in this house

😀 wine gums wouldnt last here either, not with Dante around!

Here we go, little monkey stayed still for long enough 😀 The wind blew it slightly, but it is a little more pricked than this. Its hard getting pictures as he keeps barking at the camara.

Have I caught you before you’ve gone to the Chemist? If I have, then get a pot of lanolin too! ;D

Just a tiny bit of kaolin on the inside of the tip of the ear then push the tip into your palm containing talc. This will stop it getting on furniture/clothing and stop it coming off. Then, and this is the really important part, dip the end of a spoon into the lanolin and place it where you want the ear to bend. Massage the ear over the end of the spoon so that the lanolin soaks into the ear and keeps it supple.

10 weeks is very early for ears to fly. They usually go later during teething, so I would be tempted to do both ears as the other one is also light. Good luck! ;D

PS If this doesn’t work SHOUT and we’ll talk about Plan B! ;D
