Found a new spot today

Lady at the pet store told me about this old unused gravel quarry less than 10 minutes from our house. It’s private property , posted with 100 no-trespassing signs and completely overrun by people and their dogs paying no attention to the signs ;D It’s more for swimming than anything else so the number of Labs and Goldens was a little over the top but our Sadie held her own. She is now a wonderful swimmer and can’t get enough ;D

It’s a party!! 😀

Disgusting! >:( Those dogs can get in, swim and get out spottles clean 🙁 .
The lake we have here ::) …We got muddy black sand 😛 . I demand stones for one side of our little lake. I want to come home with clean dogs for once too :-X .

Nice pics 🙂 . Bet Sadie had a bal with all those friends to swim with.

It certainly was a good find, right now especially considering the heat. Every day is over 30 degrees and Sadie doesn’t like the heat so we have to have water on all of our proper walks now.
She swam across and back a few times but mostly wanted to play with the Goldens although she could not for the life of her figure out why they were so darned interested in sticks 😀

Oh I forgot! One of the Goldens, the dark red one, would DIVE for rocks! Head down bum up ,would stay down for almost 30 seconds and then come up with a huge rock in its mouth! Was hilarious 😀

true but we dont have many spots that the dogs can go swimming other than the sea.

oh gsp i got a picture of puckpool beach that i will post later on the walking bit ;D now that will make you gelouse because its gorgeouse 😛 😀 ;D

already am jealous. 😛

we have a manky river.

and dorain can’t go in it because he refuses to go in water unless there is a slope and he can wade in gradually after his canal experience. 😛
