    :help:  i have a westie who is 6 years old diabetic.she now has a lump on one foot .took her to vets  he operated to see if she had anything in .follow up visit said it was ingrowing hair .follow up visit again took skin scrapings to make sure she didnt have mites .all clear of mites so he then says its now an alergy basing it on a skin disease she had on her back she had last year .her other back foot has asmaller lump on which looks like the first lump asked if it was narrowed blood veins . she licks her feet all the time making her pads pink

    what you feeding her on?  so what did the skin scrapings throw up or is vet just saying it is allergy because he doesnt know because he hasnt done any more tests?

    If it is an allergy you need to find out what she is allergic to so you can eliminate it from diet or environment.  If you have any photos of lumps pads etc and photos of face so we can see ears and eyes that would be good.

    feeding boiled ox liver raw carrot @small biscuits sometimes. scrapings were clear .thinks its some kind of pollen.

    are you saying that the only type of protein you give is cooked liver  😮 and if so why?

    pollen? allergy? ummmm what sort and what tests and and and…to be honest? that rubbish,…if you had a pollen test of the similar type test that dogs are exposed to? you would also show allergic….

    happy to help…but need much more info

    affix for breed lines etc

    food fed from when you had her

    diabetes info…when first diagnosed, control ire injections or diet….blood work info etc etc

    Westies are notorious for bad skins especially the feet most are yeast infections which can be helped with diet your westie is on a poor diet for any dog and a bad one for the breed there should be no red meat in the diet as this aggravates the condition
