I like that one too xtine, she was in a ‘wait’ there, which she is now, dare I say it, fluent with 8)
She definitely has her moments Val, as always, it’s more her, than anything I’ve done. She’s just naturally a very good girl :-*
Ah yes, the bell. It gets a lot of comments. Frankly I can’t do without it now. It serves a few purposes, namely it gives people, other dogs and deer a heads-up that she’s coming, it helps me locate her in the woods when she’s out of sight and it’s like ‘woods-music’ 🙂
I’m pretty sure it’s Bev who has the different collars for different times thingy and we’ve kinda got that too. When I put on her orange collar and the bell it means we’re off for a hunting adventure! When she has it on, she is amazingly attentive but also extremely birdy. When she has one of her “pretty” collars on (yes, we have quite a few different ones ::) ) she is quite a different dog. The bell itself weighs almost nothing and it has never bothered her in any way whatsoever. I like it.
