my grandmother informed me that on my mother’s first day at school she came home and recited ‘i’m a little dutch girl dressed in blue….’  😀

there was also the infamous occasion when she was 7 and taught her younger cousin, who was 2, to say “mummy is a bourgeois swine”… and guess what he said when mummy came into the room….  ;D
