has just reminded me of my step dad… we were at the park, autumn evening, dark, on the swings, mother was wandering cos she doesn’t do swings, i was about 10 or 11. there was a sudden crash – looked to swing next to me as I was swinging and it was empty. went  😮 slowed down stopped and got off. he had wondered what would happen if he tried swinging without holding on…. and what happened was he fell off backwards.  ::) 😀 he was fine by the way, and any bruises served him darn well right.  😀
