MemberHi Izzie
Thanks for your quick rescue plan. I’ve just sent you a personal message because I thought it better not to splash my ignorance all over to be read. Please advise what is the best way for me to get coaching from you without it being public…..
Hopeless and frustrated

MemberAhh… thanks for the lovely feedback! Yes, they are our sweethearts..and, THEY KNOW IT TOO!
The bigger of the two (appearing always on the left when looking at them) is Ben aka Benjy who is 2yrs 3mths. The other compact, foxy-looking one is Tess aka Tessie, who is 4yrs 4mths.
Everybody seems to take an instant liking to Ben because of his dodo look, but to no avail. He is into dogs not people. Although he loves being cuddled, hugged, smooched, (in fact all undignifying or undognifying things possibly done to a dog) by us, he is oblivious to overtures by other people. However, when he meets other dogs, he behaves like the “village idiot”, chasing them up and down and all sorts.
Tessie looveeesss people! She runs to everyone she meets and trys to separate them from their dogs… shamelessly! When she was alone before Ben came I brought her to a dog park thinking she needed some dog company. What a fool I was. I ended up playing with all the other dogs whilst miss prissy set up charming all their owners. She barked off any dog that dared to say “hi” to her and siddled up to every Tom, Dick of Harry owner. They thought she was such a dear… as for me, I know she is such a Suck-Up.
Last but not least, she rules the roost as far as Ben is concerned. She has high aspirations of the connections to the Queen and NEVER LETS ANY OF US FORGET IT! He is such a docile, simple-pimple who is clueless at all times. When she is ordered out, she barks and runs out in a rush and din, followed closely behind by Boy Wonder then rushes past her in case he misses anything. In two seconds, she turns tail and runs in just in time before we can close the door on them. There she is indoors with tongue hanging out and tail wagging completely estatic about fooling the Dodo. Meanwhile, Boy Wonder is out there somewhere wondering what he is supposed to be doing.
There you are. Just a short introduction to our Holy Hooligans!

MemberHi Chips,
I’m afraid I haven’t been able to learn the darn art of downloading my corgis’ pics. However, Izzie has very kindly posted some of my pictures for me in her note on July 15, 2009 just a few messages up from yours. Hope you like them.
I met someone today at Winterton Dunes who took some pictures of the dogs for her mum in the States. Said they had 3 or 4 corgis before but no more and would be pleased to see others.
It’s a shame that these dogs are not found easily in their traditional home country. However, with all the other popular dogs being left homeless recently, I am quite relieved they are not so popular these days.
Do you have dogs of your own and what breed are they?
