Guestto give you an idea – thats where he went missing – mill lane, in the middle of map.
Hannah/Kerry – was it or has it been low tide since missing ? you might want to let any coastguard / lifeboat people locally know (dont call 999 as you dont know he’s definately out there – there should be a local non emg number).

Guestalso maybe poster what look like commercial/industrial units just the other side of the bridge just incase the boy appears over there as its very close.
also poster the beach – from my friend he says loads of ppl use it for dog walking and would spot one without an owner easy.
kiz / izzie – is he a bedding down for nite boy or do you think he’s an adrenalin need home boy ? i read that sometimes it can be safer to stop searching after dark if dogs bed down as they are settled then and not in danger. its a miserable night (friend said) but if ur getting up at first light – get rest, leave your gate open and if u have shelter + food put it in yard – ok you might get a cat / fox ??? but you might get beau if he’s a walkabout boy – just a thought ?
get printing and giving out posters to keep you busy and get the early morning people tomorrow – bet he’s up early if his tum hungry 🙂
thinking of you.

MemberNot 100% sure what he like with traffic, the bridge is predominately for the traffic to go over and tends to be quite busy.
That a school between Mill Lane and your House Hannah/Kerry?? Might be worth going over there and whistling, taking ben, etc.
There are loads of dogwalkers where they live, so if they can get posters up and around the shops too, someone might have seen him. I doubt anyone except the family will be able to get too close to him, esp as he will be frightened

MemberOk so i am alive :ok:
the island is huge i cant imagine hes gone over the bridge – its very busy
industrail units the other side of the bridge – ok that made me smile slightly as its BAE aka VSEL where they made 99% of the trident subs and an awfull lot of war ships lol
uhm i’ll have a think – but im going to guess that most of the odvious things will have been covered – will ring a couple of people that i know BUT could really do with Kerrys number so if someone could give it me that would be great

MemberStill no sign and now pitch black me and mum are in tears.
October 27, 2008 at 6:36 pm #109955Izzie
MemberHugs Hannah :-*
Make sure you have a spare phone charged, in case your mum’s battery dies or your does.
Can you get any of your friends to help you look too? as he will know you, your mum and grandparents, the four of you can split up with a friend to go looking for him- that way if he is spotted, there is someone he knows and trusts to call him.
Keep your voice calm and cheery- dont panic call otherwise Beau will panic too.

Guestyep – very good advice from izzie 🙂
thats where the whistle might help – blow nice and confident 🙂
try to imagine he’s right there and you’re just calling him in like a normal recall
*mega hugs*
i have been out at night looking for lost dogs its heartbreaking – oh and make sure you say on any posters CALL WHATEVER THE TIME – last time i was looking, someone had the dog on their doorstep but couldnt catch it and didnt want to wake us up !! (called at 7am when it had gone !!)
also food on your doorstep is a good one if he’s used to coming to front door ?
claire x
p.s. reading past threads he spends lots of time down with horses doesnt he – i do wonder if he would have gone back there and got cozy, he could jump a stable door or huddle up in a loose box easy 😉
p.p.s dont forget to leave someone at home incase ppl call or he comes home
