Membercream of chicken soup
boil chicken until cooked save stock
pick off meat
put bones back in stock add unpeeled onions rough cut carrot and parsnip
boil again reducing by half…strain dump gubbings
so now you got a bowl of picked off meat and a concentrated chicken stock
finely chopped onion, leek and celery
brown lighty in pan…season…salt pepper paprika thyme
add stock as above…when veggies cooked and nice and soft add chicken and blitz
check seasoning…add cream…
broth
as above but use carcass only to make stock
add carrots, parsnips, cauli, broc, dried broth mix whatever you got to the onions/leeks/celery..
browning off first as aboveturnip soup is my fave
carrots onions leeks chopped and browned
add veg stock and milk and season add a spoon of sugar….and then stick in diced up turnip/swede
cook out well ….blitz and cream and loads of garlic croutons to serve

Memberhomemade tuna fishcakes
large jacket size tattie boiled and mashed
tin of tuna in oil drained
grated carrot
grated onion
paprika
tbls sweet chilli sauce
chopped boiled egg
seasoningmix that lot together
chill
roll into a fat sausage in film
chill againslice in rounds…will do 4 big cakes
dip in flour egg and homemade bread crumbs
shallow fry

Memberdoggie recipes in the stickies…val put up a great post….just as easy to look in the stickies as in another ‘seperate’ section 😛
