MemberIf they got sickness or bloodlice than the colour disapears yes  .
If they young and comb grows than from pink to red means they about able to lay eggs.
If adult chicken’s comb becomes bloodred en enlarge they are broody 😉 .
Be aware of bloodlice when summer kicks in. You will not see them at daytime, they are nightcreatures and come out after sunset. They are bloodsucking little vampirelice that will slowly suck the life out of the chickens. Litteraly :death: almost without any other sign than the chicken feeling sad and colour fading in combs. They look like very tiny little dark greycoloured spiders.

MemberYup. But keep your eye out for them anyway. They nasty litte sh.tes that will effect other birds you keep too >:( .
If you treat your chickhouse in summer with chalkpowdermilk you got most little critters down befor they can get up 😉 . It costs almost nothing is easy to apply and very effective. But just wait and see, you not keeping that many and when you spot anything crawling that should not be there, you got plenty of time to fix the problem. You won’t wait until crawlycritters are about to invade your humanhouse, so i’m pretty sure it will all work for you.
