Went to butchers today came home with one carrier bag of meaty carcasses- approx 20 odd carcasses for the springers, Livia will get the meat, skin and necks.

;D Going back on Monday with this weather, people want BBQ stuff which is good for the girls  ;D

so how is the credit crunch affecting everyone and everydogs lives?

I won’t let affect them for as long as i can. We don’t have free ‘anything animal’ here where i live, that can serve as food for the boys. No free bones, nothing. So i’m used to paying for the boys. They now cost me average a month -where’s the calculator…-  50-60 English sterling pounds a month for food only  :hurt: .
Can’t feed them half a turkey or a chicken everyday as that means there is no variation of food, plus if i feed them only birds than in 1 year i would have hardly any birds to sell  :-[ .

Although when i got my electricity and gas bill -which i pay a set amount of money each month already and are skyhigh now- and saw i got to pay an additional -need calculator again… –  1300 English sterling pounds…. OUCH… i did look at Wodan beside me and used sarcasme saying to him; ‘right! That means pedigree pal for you, mate.’ Winter’s been hard on us. And the damne financecrisis  >:( . Well there goes my build-in swimmingpool i wanted to get for my kids  🙁 . I’ll save on everything if i have to, but on food i will not, unless there is really no other way.

Froma  grooming point of view? Rushed of my bloody feet – sorry but my customers dont see grooming as a luxury – its a necessity – they would happily go without so their lovelys get their haircuts – i just raised my prices and not one complaint – the odd few have had to go a bit longer than normal – but so far im doing ok – and phone is always rining. Thing is if you have a poodle or a wesite etc etc – you cant just leave it – so two choices, do it yourself – that can be a minefield or pay someone qualified. I think NEW groomers are struggling because if people are going to pay they are going to get the best they can  🙂  I do speak to my customers check how things are going – all good so far, and they also know that if moneys tight payment can be delayed – though god help any one who takes the piss when im being kind – so far its worked well ive been paid soon as they can and it means pooch hasnt missed a trim -but only been half a dozen.

Honeys food has stayed the same – but she is only little so i know she eats a lot but she not exactly going through the same amounts clumbers would  😀
