I just ordered my sister’s wedding cake, my wedding present to them both.
Heart shaped fruit cake with dusky pink roses trailing over it and on the sides………..a stream train and a brown dobie……don’t ask ::)

She wanted me to make and ice the cake but when she mentioned the steam train and the Dobie I chickened out, the local wedding cake shop is to do it

I found my dress yesterday  ;D  Have put down deposit – been measured and they have ordered it  ;D

Am very pleased  ;D

I am not having Loki on my cake  😮  someone might eat him  😀

bloody nightmare!

every single dress in the shop was a size 16… so every one she let me try on had to be clipped around … i looked like a right tw*t in all of them. Me mrs no boobs in a dress for ladies with bazookas  😀
She kept on insisting on getting the white ones out even tho i kept saying ‘gold’… erm…. any that we liked the look of she would whisper ‘they’re for the larger girls’….

So i am nowehere closer to knowing what i want, apart from knowing that i don’t want a dress from pronuptia  >:D

Trying the green one on next week  😉

Oh poor you Christine 🙁  Not to worry, I got my dress from Pronuptia but must admit, they wern’t the most helpful bunch ::)  luckily I chose the first dress I tried on!  Your dress will find you soon. :-*

And yey for finding your dress widget!!  you can tick that off your list now ;D  Go on, have a Loki on your cake! ou don’t have to let anyone eat him!! 😀

Mine is ivory… but quite a dark ivory – almost coffee colour…   ;D

oddly – I went to one shop where all the dresses she gave me were really boring…  then they were about twice as expensive as the one I have bought  😮
