MemberHave charged the clicker. Today worked on sit and come. Now he runs up to me and sits beautifully right in front of me, awesome but I was wanting him to go pee :O
I have been working silently. At which point should I add verbal?
Are there any posts on how to get scooby to ask to go out?July 28, 2009 at 9:25 am #78684Izzie

Here’s another post that is a lot shorter but tells you how to get the verbal cue in for ‘go pee’

MemberRead through Cubert thread but its not clear to me (a little thick I guess) exactly how Bev got the cue on the door. Can anyone break it down into simple terms for me.
Also doing great with the training but seem to have trouble making sure Scooby knows the training session is over. I tell him “all done” and put away the clicker but he spends the next few hour or so offering me all the things I taught him. Any tips.
Thanks you

Guesthi, i dont really have any tips but just wanted to say hi, we have a 10 week old pup so were going through all the same things..
Willow is coming along great thanks to all the help and advice of everyone on this site :ok:July 30, 2009 at 6:14 pm #78690puppyblues
MemberDo you have Willow cued to the backdoor? Scooby is so close with the housetraining if I could just get him to tell me when he needs to go out. He pees on cue but if I miss the signs will have an accident. As its so hot here right now he drinks lots.
Willow is so cute 🙂August 1, 2009 at 9:21 am #78691Anonymous
Guestwhen we want her to go out we say ”want out” and she goes to back door, But she has started yapping at the backdoor when she wants out which is good. We havent had any accidents for a few days so think we’ve cracked that one hopefully, its still early days.
Does scooby go to the backdoor? hows the rest of his training going?

MemberNo never gone to the back door yet. But I take him out after 3 hours or nap, play or food. No accidents for a few days now :))

MemberAre your jabs the same in uk. Do they have parvo there ? The breeder said I had to wait until 3rd set of needles before I took him out.

MemberHe is 14 weeks. had him a week and a bit (breeder keeps then until 10-12 weeks). Gonna be a challenge as he is pretty snooty. Loves loves loves me and my daughter. Ignores my hubby most the time (uh oh) and he is humping. I didi not think they started this early…………
