We keep doggies on leads when it is not their turn  ;D  My pooch does not do leads – well he does now but not by choice  😉  he sits remarkably well when it is not his turn and has not misbehaved very much at all.

I get more embarrased that he is so enthusiastic and charges around the course  ::)  When I am calm he is calm so you need to relax a bit more.

Take some good quality treats – his favourite kind – favourite toy – keep his focus on them if he doesnt focus well on you.  You will love it and the obedience class will give you loads more confidence and better management.

Be assured no matter what doggie does – they will most undoubtedly have seen it before  ;D

well i almost fell over Gracie at agility last night, and had i not had my ill fitting belt on (think i need another notch putting in) my jeans would have been round my ankles  >:D

Just go and go with the flow Liz, I was thinking good there is no way i dare risk letting Gracie off lead in this class she not mean or anything but does like to go play with other dogs, but she was off lead 1st lesson and dispite dogs running all aroung and close to her she stayed focused on me!! and as Mudge says, you put em on lead as soon as the round finishes

And  ::) sitting at peg, Gracie she Errrmmm well she does not create while we are waiting our turn, well maybe a few barks !!

I have to put him on lead as everytime he heard “go” he was going through the tunnel  ::)

When it is not his turn I face him towards me and chat to him and treat him so he isnt distracted  😉

Last night was the last week of our introduction course – 6 weeks already  😮  How time flies.

Nacho continues to be a superstar.  “Spud” the jack russell was back last night but looks like he wont be returning – his owner is farmer and has lots of shows coming up.  Neither will the cross retriever as her human mum is pregnant and on bed rest  :-*  :-*  they just cant handle the competition  ;D

Trainer wants me to “skip” a class and join next lot – feel that might be a bit too mudge pressure on us.

Nacho doing well.  Managing to move across the A frame without looking like Bambi  ;D  doing the dog walk in a controlled less manic manner.  ;D  tunnel is a skoosh to him – through through through  :-*  :-* he loves that one.  Favourite has to be a series of hurdles – preferably at different angles so he can laugh inwardly at me getting all my hand signals wrong  :-\  and then can whoopee doo me when I get them right  ;D  ;D – nacho self correcting even when desperate for his turn  ;D  😀

Yip we enjoying it and we signed up forever now – addicted – just hope it doesnt interfere with doggie dancing classes later in year.  Will just have to find alternative classes for dancing if it does  ;D
