ooh thats interesting – is her tail carriage naturally right ?  whats she looking at in the garden to make it hang left then ?

i’m hooked on curly tails  now !!!!!

Yes Loki’s tail carriage is naturally to the right but it will curl either way.  When she’s in hunting mode her tails hangs down half way and she just curls the tip up and round.  If she’s tired, hot, under the weather she will just let her tail hang straight down.  If excited the the tail curls tightly,  its like a magical broom lol!

its quite off i have other pics where she looks really collie and then others where theres no doubt in my mind shes akita !

that black and white pic is stunning – and Claire that vid you posted watch her walk – she got that straight leg walk – i dunno how to explain it – but int he pic of the akita (black and white pic)those back elgs, when sammy walks reminds me of that.

Thank you, I really like the black & white pic of Loki.  And yep i know what you mean about the straight leg walk!  When showing the Akita’s and watching them move around the ring you can really see it.

I think I have a video of Loki from the LKA last year…it is on another computer at home so will have to find it out.

Would video her now but she isn’t moving well as she has a yeast infection in her feet!
