Pastel Pictures – More of a confidence boost than sales..

ok it must be me but I can see patches of green on her muzzle front left leg….chest and throat. If its just me I need a new pc I think! :-\

I checked and re-checked the measurements, but basically scrubbed most of the face out and started again, hope this looks better.

Suz, its probably because I cant get the colours to match the picture properly on screen, they are a lot more vibrant in real life but you cant see that on a scan.

Also for some reason the picturetrail ones keep coming up funny  ??? Its looks all staggered which it isnt…

Its okay, Id rather Mark was happy with it then get a picture he’s not 🙂  The colours in this one are more true to the real picture, had a good old fiddle with the colour balances/hue saturates to try to get it right.

PMSL, Mark, I know exactly how you feel  😀 It’s a great pic but I’d say the mouth needs a tweek too  ;D I reckon the face is probably the hardest part, it tells alot about the dogs character and I suppose it has to be just right  🙂

Just a courtesy note, I am still getting through the portraits so for anyone that has asked I havent forgotton  :-* Been working my socks off but the hand wont let me draw any faster as I cant have them not looking 100% 😉

Hellooo, just thought Id do a quick update with some recent ones…

Got my confirmation of NI stuff this morning, so I can say Im all official now and self employed with this 😀  Just gotta keep track of all them receipts!

Downside…. I have 3-4 months worth of work now!  Not stopping long as gotta get back to it 😀

P.s. Thank you Delevago, I just worry I take too long, but I never rush them, Id rather be behind!
