my dads dog got hit yesterday morning and his lung got puncherd the vet said he would be fine but i dont believe then do u guys think he will live

Plenty of people and animals survive perfectly fine with a punctured lung; it is not the puncture that kills them but any infection etc.

he popped the back door open and took off we live in a trailer park so there is alot of trafic
we dont know wut time he got hit but when we got home at 4:30 his side was swollen and he was limping he also has road rash

Again broken ribs heal ok; I broke 3 of my ribs coughing when I had viral pneumonia and had a collapsed lung, I am still here………………… :ok:

I am afraid road accidents can be very costly, fingers crossed he will be ok.
