Question about a neutered Dog

Hi Every One,

This is a bit embarrassing but… Do dogs that have been neutered still feel the need to mount any lady dog that they meet? ???

I only ask because we had Dan neutered last year. This morning when we took him out for his walk we met up with other dog walkers but one dog in particular he started mounting her good and proper ??? bit embarrassed by this I did tell the owners that he had been done, they didn’t seem too botherd at all, they thought if was funny. Me I’m a bit puzzled.
I thought when dogs where neutered that all stopped.

Well at least there won’t be any little Dans running around later on.

I was a little embarrassed to ask cause I was bothered in case the op had not worked. ???

Don’t ever be embarrassed to ask a question on here 😮 we have heard and seen it all.
The best bits are usually saved for tea times especially if they are dire bottoms or the colour of dog sperm ;D

Val can it depend on the age they were done? Benji was down at a very young age >:( and yet he has only ever mounted Dodger to get the ball of him :-\ no signs of sexual activity from him what so ever?

My old Lhasa apso boy still mated and tied with a girl 4 years after being castrated.

I know someone on another forum that had a crossbreed done at 5mths, and someone i worked with that had a toy poodle who was done at 6 months – both mounted and tied subsequently some years after. 😉
