the jargon free easy bit …though it slightly out of date as there are now documented cases..

Memberstan is doing realy well (touch wood) his poops are still a bit soft (i think its due to him drinking so much at the moment) but im hoping that once he is back on homecooked and bones it will return to normal ;D
the only question i have is, the very ends of his poops are still a bit funny and he does squatt and do nothing, could this be because he hasnt had any bones for a while so his glands may need emptying or is it likely to clear up later on and im just being paranoid now 😀

GuestYour just being paranoid ;D give him time

Member😀 😀 😀 yep i do get very paranoid when it comes to the dogs health(or my car) ;D
so i should be ok to introduce him back onto homecooked and bones again gradually then. bev is doing me a dit plan but with bones should i introduce him onto some lamb bones to start with

MemberOh Kerrie :'( Are you going back to the vet?
August 21, 2008 at 11:46 am #81653kerrie and stan
Memberyes i will be but first i need to go and beg them to claim straight from the insurance if they wont then i will have to change to a different vet :-\

Memberok i now have to keep my fingers (and stans paws) crossed in the hopes that the insurance pays out.
i spoke to the vet manager and she said that if the initial claim goes through and they pay out then she will consider doing a direct claim. so until then i just have to keep him as comfortable as possible so any ideas would be greatfull
