Have a few springers and a cocker and of course beardies that have had a toe removed they recover well and they do not miss their toe

No doubt in my mind Val, but I had to try, it was a desicion made between myself, mum and the vet after he had consulted with Clayton Jones.

have had a hectic day today!  :surrender:

Took Jess in to have the dressing changed, was expecting a foster (emergency one- owner’s dad is very ill in hospital ) to appear between 1 and 2 pm, he turned up at 3, Jess wanted to go greet, only she had somehow got the dressing off and she wasnt for letting me redress it and was getting more and more distressed, so off I went with mum to the vets who have redressed it

It looks really awful, suppose its part and parcel of it all, but one look and I want to :vomit:
Got to keep the dressing on till Monday and she goes back on Xmas eve for the stitches to be removed  :help:

Poor Jess, glad the vet managed to re-bandage it, how is she in herself?  :-*

Up and down at the moment, wants to be with me all the time, if I go out in the car she comes with me

We took the bandage off tonight, as she was due to have it off tomorrow

It looks red raw at the moment where the plaster has stuck to her fur

The foot…well….ummm….going to take a lot of getting used to- for me it is anyways  :-\
