It’s a tendon thing but give her a couple of weeks and she will be fine plus all the resting and mucking about before she had it off her muscles won’t be as good as they normally are a fortnight should she her back to full speed but take it easy you don’t want it to split or her to run too hard on slack muscles

Could the heat just be increased blood flow as part of the healing process? You know like when things heal and start to itch – meaning you increase blood flow and promote healing?  :-\

Or I guess infection is other option?  :-\
