MemberThe Pathology lab havent got their vet to sign off on the results >:(- which is really irritating as I want to know what my next plan of action would be with her.
She limping on and off, more so after lying on that elbow and if she walks to the end of the road, so she isnt getting any exercise at the moment. :-\

MemberTrixie’s results are back
no infections or anything suspicious
The vet is going to chat to a bone vet Clayton Jones??
We go back on Tuesday for another blood test as Trixie’s calcium levels were very high.

Memberthat must be so frustrating. no infection is good news, but still no diagnosis is bad news.
*whispers it* whos Clayton Jones?
November 21, 2008 at 6:30 pm #85004Izzie
MemberNo idea
but the vet is starting to talk to me as a proffessional and not a moron like he used to- so am going to google him later! 😉

ive questioned vets and they go right into vet speak like they talking to a colleague as if to say ‘know your place’. they have a glint in their eye when they do it. pisses me off no end, they speak the gospel and i should not ask why where and what?
must be brilliant to be able to understand them :educated:

Memberyep!
been awhile since I have seen this vet, he has managed to restore my faith in him
they also know I am doing the BB course, so that seems to have some leverage – that and the knowledge I have gained off here helps too!
November 21, 2008 at 9:06 pm #85007deebee
Membererm, BB course?

MemberBishop Buton Di,
Off to vets in 5 mins, Trixie is having another blood test done.
I also found a lump on her bad leg in the armpit.
