    Bandages came off today
the foot is very swollen still (expected that) they have shaved her paw and have nicked it in places so it is red raw. She has a 1 inch scar on her foot, which looks to be open still, as its soo muddy in our garden am wondering whether to bandage it back up to stop it getting dirty.  :-\

maybe pop a booty on when she is going to out to keep clean but take off again when in so can heal nice?

Not with her and Trixie and a foster racing to get to the end of the garden first!  :scared:

Have put a sock over it, and bandaged the sock to her leg till I speak to the vet this afternoon.

Am soo brain dead at the moment with college work- I cant think properly atm! Esp with the foster having SA keeping me up during the night  🙁

try and keep it uncovered around house – let it breathe and harden up – just make sure it is clean and no licky licky.  😛 Outside make sure it is well bandaged to ensure it doesnt get any more damaged or dirty and a wee bootie over it will help with this.  😉  You know all this but yep college stuff makes you brain dead  ;D

When Loki cut his pad I bandaged with Vetwrap – then wrapped that in some of that silver gaffer tape – like this:

    ;D

It just about lasted through the mud/ wet till the end of the walk ::)

sock, plastic bag, sock for the garden and the vet wrap is brill for walks maybe you could put a bag over the vet wrap then put a bit more VW on top of that, poor girlie :-*

She is currently sporting a rather fatching sock with blue vet wrap to keep it in place. got some heavy duty poo bags to wrap round when she goes outside.  :ok:

Tried the towel trick to stop her from licking, but she a bit of a contortionist so managed to get to it.

Thanks for the ideas, must get back to my pile of  :-X that is my assignment :scared:
