Trixie was attacked

In the park by a border collie  >:( >:(
Luckily Trixie only has a small gash on her mouth.

Was with mum, Jess and Livia, livia was on lead. the springers offlead
She went near it as she thought it was one she knew- she was about 50ft away and went into a sit, the BC approached her, Trixie got up and wagged her tail, BC went straight for her, Trixie stood up for herself, I gave Liv’s lead to mum and went running over by the time I got there, Trixie and this dog had stopped scrapping, got Trixie back to mum and the girls, BC still off lead comes up to approach Jess- who is not happy about it, Harvey (neighbours mastiffxRidgeback) appeared with his owners and warned the BC off Jess and Livia.

Livia was ready to take BC on too was told afterwards by my mother ::).

BC’s ear was gushing blood apparantly I was busy trying to check Trixie out with my mother shouting ‘down’ @ Trix  ::) Funnily enough BC owner put her on lead and walked very quickly away

Not the first time she been attacked by a BC, prob wont be the last. This BC is known in the park for going full pelt at dogs who are passing by.

Oh no how awful, what’s wrong with people, they know their dogs behave this way yet they still let them off, makes me so angry  >:( Kisses to Trixie glad she’s ok  :-*

Glad Trixie is OK, you would think the BC owner would learn if it does this to lots of dogs ::)

I’ll swop  her for Willow >:D Just gave Madam a bath. Mention the word bath the ears go back the tail goes up the arse and she slinks off. ::)

I would but we dont have a bath atm  :boooo: its being redecorated and the plumber hasnt come to fit it yet  🙁 Having to use the ensuite in parents room which is a pain

seems Trixie has been slightly affected with this latest attack.

Saw a friend of mum with her 2 collies with someone else’s collie- all of whom she knows very well, Jess was approaching every few feet then going down.

Trixie stayed by my feet and wasnt for going to greet.  :-\
