im looking for some herbs to help the horses relax a bit as they are so tense and jumpy, ive been looking through a horse herb book and so far found Chamomile, Valerian and Vervain but im wondering if there are any online stores or anything were i can buy dried herbs to feed them. obviously i will be looking into them more first before feeding them the herbs

i love all three of those  i use liquid valerian for dodger, i grow my own camomile in the garden for everyone to use and have used vervain before but that was a while ago πŸ™‚

hope you find what you are looking for πŸ™‚

i actually have a valerian plant growing in my garden too, planning on using that next summer once it’s grown πŸ™‚

I know valerian can act as a slight sedative but it also helps reduce anxiety.

I believe Vervain can be used for people that are under lots of stress finding themselves unable to relax, it’s supposed to restore body and mind back together. When i used it it made me very calm and relaxed…..

Camomile again is for stress and can calm you if you are emotional upset. Makes a nice tea as you probably know πŸ™‚

That’s all i really know off the top of my head but i’m sure Val will be able to give you the real values and effects for each of the three

Valerian only slows down, stronger than camille but… To realy knock out you’d need Absinth. But i don’t think that’s what you are after.

I have not replied to this as I know zip about horses and to be honest homeopathy should not be treated as sweets.
If you want to go up this avenue on the island you have some of the best people for horses, and alterative medicines
