scotland has plenty sandy beaches – also plenty pebbly ones. lovely big long one at st andrews where i was born (i was born in a hospital not on the beach  😀 ).

The best beach for sand is Embo, right up north just past Dornoch, not a stone in sight, but rabbits by the billion, will see If i can find find some old piccies.
