Hi guys,

I need all the luck I can get.  I have a job interview tomorrow and am nervous as hell.  I’ve surprised myself actually, this is my dream job and I’ve had all week to build it up in my head, am not convinced am as well prepared as I should be, have had a busy old week and I have visions of it not going to plan which isn’t like me, but am going to spend tonight thinking Positive Mental Attitude and hopefully knock their socks off! EEK!

Thanks guys  ;D it’s a research consultancy job, its the job I want to do but can’t until I get experience, if you know what I mean.  I’m a researcher by training and trade but most jobs I see you need consulting experience, am hoping they’ll give me a go, a bit rough around the edges but I’d love to get a break!

Hi guys, a debrief!  I would say it went reasonably well, in the way I always feel after these things there were areas I could have performed better, but the presentation was well received and I answered everything as best I could.  Here’s hoping!  I should hear next week as one other candidate is still to be interviewed later in this week (is always the way).  I’m super looking forward to hearing either way.  The surprising thing is how good it felt to get an interview and remember what they are like!  Will keep you posted!  BTW, the last question was ‘do you prefer dogs or cats?!!!’ can’t remember what led to it, that’ll stay with me forever! – they a dog office!    Thanks all x
