Took Jess and Trix to the park this evening, Jess went to do her bog off to the lake, recalled her and she came back straight away- so big praise for JessJess, then some woman starts shouting at me to put them on lead- I said they arent being a nuisence so no and was walking away.
Next thing I know I have a staffxpit bull haring towards the girls, the idiot bloke let go of his lead! >:( >:( Jess is terrified, Trixie is shocked. Jess bolts away towards the car with this dog after her so I go upp towards the car getting ready to open the boot and get the girls to safety.
By which time, Jess is now standing her ground telling this dog to F off.
Woman and bloke come up, woman all apologetic and starts rambling about how he is a rescue from the RSPCA >:( >:( was used as a fighting dog and abused and was rehomed to her 3 months ago. Both of these people were p**sed to the eyeballs and were def on something :-X
They get the dog back, he a lovely dog but am angry because a) they shouldnt have the dog in the first place and b) RSPCA rehomed this dog who is also entire. >:( >:( >:(
Sorry had to get it off my chest! >:(

May 6, 2009 at 7:41 am #73011hi,
RSPCA are a law unto themselves and do rehome entire dogs.
i doubt it was a pittie as they are banned and even the RSPCA arent that stupid !
expect it was more likely a bull breed x, bull-lurcher or staff x collie – from my experience these 3 crosses can make exceptionally “pittie” looking dogs.
JMO – RSPCA should not have re-homed a fighting dog. It is too dangerous for the “general public” and they are better pts. Just 1 more reason for people to stop flipping sending them money !!! 🙁
