Well we picked him up from the hospital this morning – he has a shaved front leg, neck and lower back but we’ve been given the all clear that his problems are not to do with his hips or spine ;D ;D just need to get his bum better now ::) :-*

a while back i posted about him maybe slipping a disc in his back – it all cleared up but a few weeks back one of his anal glands burst and got infected. The vet said the lower back pain we thought was spinal probably was just the pain in his anal gland but after a week of the anal gland pretty much back to normal he was still having incredible pain in his spine/hips and lower back. He went in on new years eve to have xrays of his hips and spine, a procedure to see his spine by putting dye into the spinal column and if ness CAT scans.. turns out all his joints are perfectly fine so we just have to wait and see how his back end goes
thought i had posted about it before :-\ 😀

they think it could still be down to the anal glands – they checked them over when he was knocked out for the xrays and said that the left was clear but the right one was still a little hard although they think it could be scar tissue – we are booked to go see them in 4 weeks time to see if it has all settled down. Fingers crossed he’s back to normal :-*

    Glad he’s back home :-*
Jay had a myelogram to diagnose his wobblers, very clever to see it going through each xray, good news theres nothing serious there 🙂
