how LIKELY does vet think it is to be anything that will cause a problem? as val said her layla had one that never gave her a problem.  😉 has it got bigger recently or something? if it was me i migth be thinking more along the lines of old Icey with heart murmur lump may never cause a problem leave it alone – unless they REALLY think it is likely to cause her a problem… don’t know if that’s any help.  :-\

If it’s not bothering her don’t let it bother you, I would not put any dog under a GA unless it was serious especially an old lady like Ice.
Even if note the IF it was cancer she would be better living out her days with it, her heart may see her out before the cancer takes hold, and lets not foget the chances of it being the big C are low most doggy lumps are nothing

Icey occassionally scratches at the area the lump is in but that may be where the vet clipped her to take sample from lump. Will try to talk to vet about what we will be doing asap. Won’t be putting her under a GA unless really necessary.

ok just spoke to vet & as lump not troubling icey we will leave it alone unless it grows alot larger or changes colour at-all. Let her enjoy her life she has .

I agree – long as it isnt bothering her it makes no odds  :-* Feel for you, were there with Buster and his lumps – none coming off at his age still hard though  :-*

Just wanted to add that I think you made a good choice too. 

Val is right 🙂  Also, in the remote possibility it was C – would you really put ice through any treatment?

Am sure she’ll tell you she’s got plenty of happy times left in her yet 🙂
