trying to register a new member, but it wont allow me to do it, and it wont let that member register

says something about email address being wrong? :-\

I have found an error in the email address which is invisible, when you cut and paste it in to the forum.  The error only appears when you add it to a database.  It did catch me out for a while.  The only way I can show it is:

Paste the email address in to the registration box
click so the blinking cursor line is to the right of the . in the email address
Move the blinking cursor one to the left with the left arow key, so it is now on the left of the .
Prees once the backspace button (the one above Enter on the keyboard normally that looks like the left arrow key) – The l of hotmail is still there.
Press the backspace again and the l disappears.
The first time you click the backspace deletes the invisible error.  Weired eh!
(Yes I am a geek :surrender:)

I have changed Fuddles email address to jaineengland@hotmail​.com, so all the emails should go there now.

Or paste the email address in the search box at the top of the screen, then use the left and right arrow keys to move left and right through the address.  Everytime you get to the l and the . it will take 2 key presses to move the cursor.
