Wasnt sure where to put this hope its in the right place!
Ok so my husband and I have some exciting news! Just before Ava was born my husband was made redundant and well with me doing the Bishop Burton course the idea always was to eventually work for myself and Chris to join me at a later date (I was going to look at starting something towards the end of my Mat leave) but hey life doesnt alway work out as planned, so as things happened with him losing his job, we thought well why not try and set something up, so we went through lots of ideas and to cut a long story short, we (mainly he) are setting up a hydrotherapy pool, we are doing it in an industrial unit near us. Chris has done Canine first aid and a Hydrotherpy course at Hawksmoor and he is doing a pool management course too.
There is only one pool around our area and well it…. – many people have been and would not go back but do want to take their dogs swimming and the nearest one that is of a standard of member of CHA (Canine Hydrotherapy Association) is about 30+ mins drive away. whilst we will not at the min be a member of CHA we will all but adhere to their standards and may join in the future. So we almost there we got the planning ok’d verbally, just waiting for the letter then we order the pool and off we go hopefully up and running in 4 – 6 weeks, nothing ventured nothing gained!!
