How do the kc work out the age of ur puppy

Daft question i know but i have my puppies on the border collie data base ands it says there four month old yet i work it out there 21 weeks so can some one help me out here :help: :help: :help:please they were born on the 17th of october 09

The KC work on months not weeks so the pups are four months they are five months on the 17th March
