Judy, Whippet x bullbreed, DOB 11.11 – Godstone, Surrey

Homing Requirements: Judy needs a real rescue home who are about nurture, loving care and walking beside their new dog to help them build up skills in areas they missed out on. Judy barks when she is feeling out of her depth. She ideally would be good to live with another dog to help her overcome her nerves and build dog skills from the outset. Secure garden and gradual exposure to life’s gifts are needed. Her Story: Judy was found stray and to be in the very early stages of pregnancy when spayed. She has since needed another operation for a hernia repair. Judy is in kennels but with weekend foster breaks to support her through her rescue days. Judy is neutered, chipped and vax’d. Currently in Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Judy feels life is a little like ‘Punch and Judy’ … it’s not been kind to her so far. She is carrying a lot of ineptitude and innocence and so easily gets flustered which is soon calmed with reassurance and the chance to familiarised and acquaint herself with strangers and new situations. Stability would help. Judy is housetrained and walks well on a lead. She needs to settle more in her own skin before she has the skills and confidence to try off lead; that would also be dependent on her developing dog skills.
Judy is a 1 year old whippet x bull breed. She has the loving nature, is quiet in the home and yet can display fun and joy as she begins to relax and trust in her situation. She barks when nervous yet soon settles. A stunningly beautiful dog who so needs a stable family setting to allow her to flourish.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found.
