Maia is a 15 week old rottie cross staffordshire bull terrier and is currently on foster in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The Maia Fact File
Dog status: Very good, very sociable and loves canine company
Cat status: Very good
Child status: Could be rehomed with children 6 years plus
House training: Coming along nicely for her age
Home alone: Is learning to be comfortable for short periods but will need a new owner who is home for the best part of the day
Basic training: Has learnt her name and to come when called. She is a bright and social girl who will learn new skills quickly
Well, isn’t Maia a stunner! What she has in looks she also matches in personality.
She is a lovely pup with a sunny disposition. She does have a shy and retiring side also and lacked some early socialisation and handling meaning she can be a little backwards at coming forwards when leeting people. Her foster family are working with her on this and letting her explore the world at her own, delicate little pace.
Once she has had chance to slowly say hello to people she will be their loving friend for life.
She is still mouthing a little so we would recommend a home with children over 6 years. Any children she does live with would need to be gentle and dog savvy. She loves canine company and the odd bit of play and she would enjoy a new home with en existing dog or dogs. However, she could be rehomed as the only dog as long as she had a lot of company and things to do with her day.

Maia is in foster with cats and is being a very good girl with them. Initially she did show a lot of interest and wanted to give them a good licking but this has calmed down.
Maia is still having the odd accident and will need a little more help in the house training department. She is very good in the car and is happy to settle down or watch the world go by.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from http://www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk
