i would guess it would have started as an offering of appeasment when young and he has re-enforced it so it now a conditioned greeting response…..she wants his apprasial….he the household male  🙂 she is showing respect for his status….

She only started doing it a few months ago, he came in the kitchen and she roled onto her back! He’s done the tummy rub and obviously conditioned it ;D I’ve just told him and with a very chuffed look on his face said ” aghh such lovely creatures aren’t they”. I think he falls in love with her more everyday  ;D

First thing he does when he gets home or gets up in the morning is make a fuss of her as he walks in the kitchen, maybe it was a day he’d got out of bed the wrong side  ;D  😀
