    Thanks Mudgie
had a good session tonight after school-managed to get back before darkness set in!!! We met a flat coat out today – meg was on
lead and it was coming out of caravan park whilst we were coming towards
it! Did loads of this ways etc just like Bev told me to and she did grumbly (i
want to do as you say mum and i;m trying really hard, oh oh oh oh but
i’m so not sure oh oh oh oh) Never fired but soooooo wanted to!! when we
turned the corner she looked me squarely in the face (which I clicked
and treated) and was all pleased with herself!!! did a bit more whilst
the dog walked past the end of the road and then let her have a blast
with the footy in the garden!!! This is the same flat coat that we met 3
months ago, I stopped to chat to the lady and Meg flew at the dog (which
was on lead so couldnt get away) and made loads of noise! we chatted for
a while after that incident with meg back on lead and tied to the fence
and she was interested in how we were going to deal with her!! I was in
no mans land at that time and was telling her that we were trying all sorts!
I desperately wanted to speak to her today but Meg needed me 100%! We
smiled at eachother before I turned and did a this way etc!!! Small steps!!
Later on Ash did some training too and he caled me out to watch his heel close and turns!! They were fab! All going to bed happy tonight!! Going to go up Ingleborough this weekend and have some family chill out time (just the 4 of us)! If we meet dogs then …….bring it on!!!

You guys are gona get soooo fed up of me!!! But I have to share!
We went for a big walk today-it was supposed to be further and higher but the weather came in and we couldn’t see the peak we were going to climb!

Anyway, when we got out of the car Meg was trying to show Ash where to go! He did loads of this way, heel close etc and she did about 5-6 focused directly at him! So she got her reward and was allowed to go off lead!

On the walk we did some whistle recalls and verbal ones too. She looked to cue loads of times and got clicked and treated for it!! after about half an hour off lead Ash brought her in to do some heel close off lead-perfect! so allowed to go off again! She then hunted a pheasant-I didn;t see it so it resulted in a chase!!! Clever bird flew over the wall and Meg returned to us!!

On the final part of the walk we were coming down a steep hill and could see the phesants at the bottom! Meg pointed! So I gave her a leave-and called her like a dizzy woman-all high pitched! And she turned and came back!!! Gave her the biggest fuss and she thought I was crazy!!! Did some stay by’s and then released her!

Finally on the way back to the car Meg went back on lead and did a beautiful heel close ALL the way back to the car!!!! (with Ash!!!)
We now have two very tired doggies sleeping infront of the fire and one very proud mummy!
