MemberIt has come to our attention that the board is being overrun by the rescue posts, as a result a lot of posts by long standing and new members are being missed.
This forum is first and foremost about getting the right puppy from the right breeder, training and behaviour.
The rescue forum only came in after constant posts for rehoming. Now the mods feel that we need to ask Any rescues who post more than 5 posts a day to curb your postings, whle we understand the need to get these dogs out in the WWW, it is overrunning the board to the point of putting the regular members off as well as the newbies who come on here for help.
Therefore we are asking that rescue and rehoming posts be kept to a maximum of 5 posts per day any more and we will delete them. I’m sorry it has come to this but we need to keep this board for what it was intended to be and not another site for rehoming dogs.

MemberHi Val
I appreciate your message and respect & understand your decision. We have always welcomed the opportunity to showcase our rescue dogs on your forum. We also appreciate the support of this forum and the chance to do so. A responsible owner who actively seeks advice on training and behavioural issues, as on this forum, has to be just the type of dedicated owner that we would like for our rescue dogs.
I have endeavoured to keep our dogs as current and as up-to-date as possible by building a picture of each dog as they progress through our rescue for any potential adopter in the hope that they will follow their progresss, hopefully fall for their charms and consider offering a rescue dog that magical chance of a forever home.
I also make sure that our threads are either up-to-date or deleted when the dog has been homed so that the rescue boards stays as clean as possible.
I will continue to post up to a maximum of 5 rescue posts a day and we thank you for your continued support.
If anyone wants to know the current status of any dog please feel free to contact me at sharon@rescueremedies.co.uk
