puss in nail bed

Gracie been sat licking her foot this morning – had a look and a prod about and there is pus coming out of the nail bed have washed with salt water and slathered sudocreme on which has stopped her bothering it
just wondering if i should just keep an eye on it for now
there is nothing that i can see in there  :-\

got a pic – have you check for any exit holes further up the foot – am thinking grass seed….

No exit holes i can see – puss has stopped now and while it stilll looks little red and slightly swollen she not bothering it as much – trying to get a pic but its just a blur at the min – will keep trying
