Today I had to say goodbye to the most wonderful, big, in your face sheltie in the world. Before my marriage of 30 years broke up we did a little bit in the world of obedience. Tam won out of prebeginners and would have done nicely in beginners if arthritis hadn’t hit him hard.
I say Tam won as he was hampered by a handler unable to tell left from right or walk in a straight line.
He was everyone’s friend, fantastic good nature and with film star looks. With a decent handler he would have gone far but he was stuck with me, but we adored each other. I now have a huge hole in my heart and can’t stop crying, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye, I know he was twelve but it doesn’t seem like five minutes since I bought that little ball of fluff home.
