Homing Requirements: Rex needs a family who are confident and can build his confidence with other dogs; his instincts are thrill and play. He is a large Staffie so again requires confidence with his size and playful energy. Needs a garden, secure & exit management. Needs tolerance built to being left as he has always had company. Not lived with children but good in their company although a little bouncy.

His Story: Owned since a puppy, Rex is now 3 years old. A treasured dog but the landlord has given his owner the ultimatum of “’no large dogs allowed”. Rex is neutered, chipped and vax’d. Currently in boarding kennels near Gatwick, Surrey.
Advert: Rex … Majestic, King … large for his breed, yet a pedigree Staffie and a very fine example and carries a really safe energy about him despite the fact he can be leapy with joy. He is easy to walk on a short lead and learning to enjoy the freedom of an extender. Apparently he and his owner’s confidence was affected when he was a pup with dogs, but his disposition is approachable and friendly; shouldn’t be difficult to rebuild trust and he is receptive when meeting dogs.
Rex is a large Brindle Staffie a really handsome dog. He is in good health and has been well cared for and loved all his life. He has been around all ages of children but never lived with them. He can get leapy and he loves to play but heeds command. Really special boy – a cheeky monkey but the perfect gentleman with it!
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found.

MemberCan’t believe it was December when we last photographed Rex so had him as a definite on our photo list this weekend. Here he is, despite the long kennel stay, looking very fit if I do say so myself.
So come on folks, fall in love with this beautiful guy and either foster him or give him a home to call his own. He has been waiting far too long …
