    mmmmmmm :-\ well………. after 3 x-rays and a blood test they are still none the wiser. x-rays and blood tests came back clear.
    stan is now on 4 talets a day of anti-bs and 2 tablets a day of steroids

    so in short we still dont know whats wrong 🙁  :boooo:

    its something at least, i have been quite worried as his breathing has been irregular so its a relif (sp) that he doesnt have anything wrong with his chest, heart and that nothing seriouse shows up on the x-rays is a relife aswell

    so hopefully we will get there soon ;D

    is there an easier way of giving tablets other than shoving them down the back of his throught?

    wrap them in something….push into a bit of cheese or in the middle of mince etc….throw 2 bits for him to catch then throw third bit with pill in…

    stan is getting bored with biscuites now, so can i give him like a tin of chappie in the morning and bikkies at night just to vary it a bit. ooh the vet said he has to be on a bland diet so would it be ok?

    hi kerrie glad the tests came back negative always good to rule out serious stuff … is it possible that the infection/paracite is resistant to the drugs that were used, are there alternates that are specific to girdardia that could be tried?

    well we are having another fecal test done (the three day one) as gardia didnt show in the second test that was done so if it is still present then it should (fingers crossed) show in that one and then we can treat it, hopefully
