Homing Requirements: Rocky deserves a family who ‘get’ Patterdales and can offer him an inclusive family home where his needs are central. He can relate well to young children but would be better with visiting young children rather than live in, fine with older terrier savvy children. Only pet. Can be left. Needs a secure terrier-proof garden to enjoy off lead play.

His Story: Rocky was taken in by his current family to avoid him going into rescue. He is a Patterdale and his owner appreciates that he needs a more terrier understanding family but is happy to hold until we find that family for him. Rocky is neutered, chipped and vax’d. Currently homed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Advert: Rocky is a character to love – a Wonderful Patterdale! Rocky is living with a 4 year old and a 7 year old Yorkie companion. Rocky is crate trained when his owner is out. He is getting used to being walked and enjoys the full scope of an extender lead. Loves to play ball and can be a tad possessive of his chew bone but he messages well and can be coaxed around.

Rocky is a wire haired Patterdale terrier with a white blaze on his chest. Just 18 months old and bringing it all together. Mixes well with other dogs, enjoys an inclusive family life i.e. being on furniture and sleeping on the bed close to his pack. Patterdales are loving and sincere with curiosity and character. Who could resist?
