Sarcoptes!

Well Sky’s little bumps had got worse over the last few days so off to the vets we went this morning!! She has Sarcoptes mites  😛 Vet did a little skin scrape while we were there! She has been treated with Advocate and has some Clavaseptin tablets to treat the infection! Bless her, we’ll sort her out! She had a couple of little bumps on that leg when we got her but they vanished after a few days but it was obviously the start of it!

Vet says this is a type of mange and usually caught from foxes  :boooo:

So we’ve had to cancel her hydro for this evening  :boooo: give it a couple of weeks and hopefully she’ll be all cleared up so we can go  :ok:

Yes, Fox mange.  Luna had this when she was young.  She lost all her her hair on her paws bless her  🙁 Once she was treated it cleared really quickly.  Hope Sky gets better soon  :-*

Sky’s has licked her paw alot recently and the fur has gone, so I’m wondering if they’ve caused that too, although the vet thinks its just the area on her leg  :boooo:

Anyway the area is looking better already today, not so enflamed and lumpy so fingers crossed its going  :ok:

Just to say Sky’s all on the mend  ;D No more bumps or sores, just little bald spots which are starting to grow back  :ok:
