February 5, 2009 at 2:41 pm #72090.dodger.Member😀 thats why i was wondering how old he was.
I definatly think collie and the more i look at his head the more i think there may be shepherd further down the line…. Any other pic’s of him? 🙂
February 5, 2009 at 2:44 pm #72091MudgieMemberno sorry they are waiting on home check – have had him out walking quite a few times – they have fallen so in love with him – will be devastated if they dont get him.Â
they have done so much homework – they deserve to have a dog they will make good owners – he deserves a lovely home – seems easy to me. ;D
February 5, 2009 at 2:49 pm #72092.dodger.Memberaww well i hope they get him :-* he’s lovely
February 5, 2009 at 3:21 pm #72093AnonymousGuestyep – in all likelyhood he’s probably a collie x terrier.
he looks quite like wills but a little ‘sharper’ in features. alot of that head looks terrier to me – it looks very similar to wills but his ears definately either need growing into or are from something else larger lol !! their carriage is terrier-like but they’re bloomin hoooj !!
bet he’s a barker lol !!!

February 5, 2009 at 3:26 pm #72094AnonymousGuesthis stance in that picture is very typical william with front legs square-ish and back legs out ! i recon they’ll find a tickley spot on his lower back – if those legs are carrying stress i would t-touch him down lower back either side of spine.

February 5, 2009 at 8:09 pm #72095MudgieMemberthanks claire – so how do I check for stress in legs ?
February 5, 2009 at 8:49 pm #72096AnonymousGuestHiya,
In william the stance that spencer is doing would be a sign he’s under stress and carrying it in his tail base (in the extreme william would show coat standing up here – VERY noticeable) / hip / upper leg area. He probably is under stress as these type of pictures are usually done in about 2 mins flat with the whole kennel barking like mad because lots of dogs are going in and out 😉
If he’s readily handleable then I would expect (with Wills) the normal back of hand would pick up hot spots and a flat palm or a little light clouded leopard and you’d feel the muscles tight.
Do they have any “story” for him ?Â
Have they done any response tests with him ?
