Taffy is a 5 month old Rottie Pup currently fostered in Llanbradach, South Wales.
The Taffy Fact File
Dog status: Good but playful and boisterous
Cat status: Unknown, may be bale to learn to cohabit with a dog savvy cat
Child status: Good. Still bouncy and play bites so 8 years +
Home alone: Can be left for short periods, looking for someone home for best part of the day
House training: Good but odd accident
Basic training: Very intelligent and biddable and learns basic commands easily. Will need further work and training around toys and treats as he can guard them.Taffy is a well socialised and confident puppy. He is looking for a home that is experienced with large breed dogs as this boy is going to be huge……. with a huge personality to match.

Taffy is an intelligent and biddable dog who has already learnt lots of basic skills in his foster home. He is in foster with other dogs and has been well behaved with them although he is assertive and playful. He has not been around cats whilst in foster.
Taffy is largely housetrained although he does have the odd accident. He travels very well in the car and greets adults and children well.
Taffy can be protective over treats and chews and has been known to guard them from people. His foster family are working on this and he is responding well. This would need to be continued by any adopter. This does mean we will not be able to rehome him with small children.
”Hey do you think I look cool in a hoodie?”

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from http://www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk
