Walkies around Cardiff/Caerphilly

Hi all,
I’m new on here but would love to find someone or a small group to walk my 3 year old Patterdale terrier with. He’s in desperate need of socialization so fellow walkers with experience and any tips to share would be brilliant

Not sure if you can socialise a dog that’s 3 years old.  If I’m right, then the time to do it is in the classical conditioning period which is upto 16 weeks old.  Maybe someone can verify this!?

Are you looking for someone to walk your dog in a group or just a group to meet up with?  Generally most regional areas have parks, areas which are attractive for dog walking.  I’d try there and get some local advice.

Hi,
I agree that dogs should be socialised properly as puppies, sadly this hasn’t happened enough with my dog (long story). He is a good dog, he just has an incredible amount of energy and isn’t used to being around other dogs.
I’m looking for a walking buddy really who is willing to help me help my dog get used to being around other people and dogs. A big ask I know but hey ho.
