I have just got this message sent to me by a Pets As Therapy Voluteer, so please take care if ou are in the area:

WARNING………….VERY IMPORTANT NEWS………..
It appears we have a very mentally challenged person in West Sussex. They are leaving RAT BAIT SANDWICHES, on EAST HEAD Beach, West Wittering, Chichester.
1 dog dead ,one in intensive care….If your dog is a scavenger, and you walk there keep it on a lead for a while.
