Don’t be put off by Winnie’s age, there is most definitely life in the old dog! She runs and runs and runs and loves it!!
Winnie is fully housetrained and is quiet and settled all night.
She can be left her for short periods of time and is not destructive at all.
She is a very friendly girl and loves a fuss from everyone she meets. However she is a bit of a leaner so would suit a family with older children as she doesn’t care who she leans on and may knock a younger child over. She cannot be rehomed with cats as she gets VERY excited and would definitely chase a running cat.
Winnie has been very friendly with every dog she has met, politely sniffing then moving on. She pulls on the lead a little initially but soon settles down and walks nicely. Her foster mum has let her offlead and she has great recall
Winnie is has no issues around food and quite happily eats in the kitchen alongside the resident dogs in her foster home.
Winnie is looking for an active home with older children and no cats.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from http://www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk
