get on the move with him when doing the hold and carry….get it sustained before moving it on to presenting to hand….clap hands like i do clever carry good carry good hold…break it down …dont go for the runout and the return and present before you got carry/hold fluent…it will break down otherwise….you can always series or chain it….individual behaviours remember…

Do you mean the running out of the garden? That was what he was doing when I was ready to give up on him – but he hasn’t done it since we became the police… so am guessing was all our fault anyway  :-[

nahhhh…girlie…pub….girls go pre season for how long?…..extended territory…..stopped doing it after that last bog off when she had just finished?….

Yes – running out of the garden down to the pub  ;D  She was just finishing season then.. not done since that weekend. Had one weekend always on lead – then training and was allowed offlead again this weekend…  Guess is cos girl not in season any more?
